jimmack34 (560), Lancaster, Ohio, USA Feb 27, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow-orange with a fizzy head. Smells grainy and wheaty. Tastes like a flat pilsner. Not much spice. Tastes of wheat and grain malts. Very soft carbonation. Yeasty and watery aftertaste. larsniclas (3383), Gothenburg, Sweden Feb 20, 2009 Draught at The Chancellor’s Hotel, SF
Hazy golden with a small, white head.
Loads of lactic acid in this one; to old cask I’d say; the waiter didn’t agree... The buttermilky acidness is overtaking everything else.
Some light spiciness to be found, but overall very thin. jamvin23 (162), chicago, Illinois, USA Feb 16, 2009 Bottle: Hazy appearance. Aroma: citrusy and yeasty. Flavor: Front-end was somewhat sweet, with a low yeast flavor. rcasta (470), El Salvador Feb 13, 2009 en bellevue red robin la famosa california koolaid. Thin head which disappears quickly. Also noticed a great deal of bubbles. Aroma was of malt and citrus. Flavor was nice, yet unremarkable. Typical wheat, citrus, yeast flavor of many hefes.
