| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 6, 2008 This beer is amazing of the tap, not so much in the bottle. Pours a hazy orange. The taste is bitter, you get a lot of wheat and some spice. It’s one tasty brew, especially with a wedge of lemon or my all time favorite, Hefeweizen with a wedge of orange, it really brings out the flavor. taalhiker (179), Dayton, Ohio, USA

Refreshing on a hot summer day. Nnot complex but serves its purpose. Citrus and wheat aromas and flavors. fidel (915), Livermore, California, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 18, 2008 Very dry, vinous brew the color of transparent orange juice. Yeasty smell that lingered during the course of the drink and sort of overwhelmed the flavor at times. Strong malted wheat flavor, but otherwise a very dry hefeweizen, unusual for the style. Also quite bland. Drinkable, but the amber-weizen is much preferable to this one.
