Goes down nice. Theres certainly nothing offensive about this one. rayOfBeer (316), El Cerrito, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 6, 2008 Poured from tap at Berkeley Pyramid ale house a cloudy amber blonde with medium size white head. Aroma of malt, bread, and very light banana. Flavor is caramel, malt sweetness, with a little bread and tartness. The palate has no spice and very little carbonation tang. Overall this beer has ok flavor and is easy to drink, but very few characteristics of a hefeweizen. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 26, 2008 A- Tangerine colored brew which is characteristically unfiltered in appearance. Nice frothy 2 finger head. This is definitely what I except to see from a hefeweizen.
S- Smell seems a bit overly sweet, apricot, banana and a mettalic tinge are present.
T- Very light doughy banana taste. Sort of a strange fruity aftertaste that I can’t put my finger on. Definitely one of the lighter hefeweizens I have tasted.
M- Mouthfeel is somewhat carbonated and very light. A little too watery for my tastes.
D- This is a pretty drinkable brew, not my favorite hefeweizen by far but a good session beer. HoppyGuy (111), USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 25, 2008 Pours a hazy medium amber (swirl the bottle near the end of the pour to stir up the yeast on the bottom). It poured with a medium light beige head. The aroma is of citrus and a spice I can’t put my finger on (allspice? Nah.). I was surprised by the weak character, and I think it would be better with a lemon slice to jazz it up some. An OK summer brew. Put some lemon in it and pair with barbeque (use a "sweeter" sauce, not one that’s tangy), beans and cole slaw. Watermelon for dessert. Yum. UnholyBrewing (448), Melbourne(Mulgrave), Australia
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 24, 2008 ...draft at the pyramid brewery. Surprisingly good, but lacking. Close attempt at the great style of hefeweizen, but still not perfect like the real deal. Nice wheat on the nose, and malt in the mouth, citrus notes are there, making this a very drinkable, good beer. Too bad I can’t get it in Florida. ilovedarkbeer (1333), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 22, 2008 Thank god this insn’t listed as a Hefeweizen because I was about to rip it a new one. Pours a cloudy golden color with a medium to large sized soapy/fluffy white head. Looks decent. Nose is sour and grassy. Some banana esters, but nothing on the level of a hefe. Taste is acidic, carbonated, grassy, wheat like, and just generally unbalanced and harsh on the palate. Boooooooo. Bhops (331), Dallas, Texas, USA
