Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

12 oz. bottle- Aroma is of hay and wheat, good hefe, not great. Head disapears almost immediately, kind of bland.

12 oz bottle - pours a cloudy straw color with little head and lots of bubbles... aroma of grass, wheat, lemon and some clove - taste is similar to the nose - wheat/grass, citrus and spice. Decent Hefe but won’t knock your socks off.

Got a bottle from my local super market. This is very refreshing but not at all tasty.

An awesome beer. I enjoy a beer with body as seen with this beer. This wheat beer ranks top amongst others that are hard either difficult to accuire or pay for.

Slightly off white head sits atop a cloudy orange golden color beer. Aroma of clove, citrus and wheat, all mild. An almost spicy sweetness up front with mild honey, banana and wheat. Makes me think of summer and sunshine (gay, I know). Lightly carbonated and thicker bodied than I anticipated. Smooth throughout and enjoyable. Nice maltiness to it with a pleasant amount of hops to match. Warms well. I really enjoyed this beer.

12 oz. bottle served in tumbler- poured a non transparent, murky, and hazy darkened orange and yellow. White ring around the glass and a small whisp atop the liquid surface for a head. Aroma of wheat, malt, and notes of lemon and citrus. Hits the mouth with a low-medium body, malt is interlaced with a dull sweetness, middle holds up well, finish is complete. A Wheweizen or Hefeat? Not bad- it was this or the almighty Bud Select 55 for this holiday weekend...

4 oz pour at the Oregon Brewers Festival in July ’09. Nice smooth, sweet wheat. Good balance.
