Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

tap. I really enjoyed this on tap. Hazy staw pour with thin head. Nice wheat and grain. Smooth and slightly creamy.

Bottle. Pours hazy swirly amber with medium slightly off-white head. Nice residual yeast on bottom of bottle. Very mild grain aroma, doughy yeast notes, slight citrus-like scent. Flavor is doughy light bread, a very mild sourness, a tiny bit of floral hops and a touch of bitter flavor- overall very mild and lacking much complexity. Rounded mouthfeel is the best part.

Cloudy, dark gold beer with a nearly absent, disappearing head. Aroma is malt with some fruit aroma. Flavor has a nice bite, a very mild touch of sweetness, and mild hop bitterness. Finish is a pleasant sweetness with hop and clean, but fades a bit quickly. Refreshing, but not a sipper.

Wheity hops in aroma and a slight hops with carbonation for the taste. Not bad, but not a great beer either.

12 oz. glass bottle- color of pale yellow, with a thick frothy white head - nose of yeast, crisp, light spice, sour light colored fruit, and flat – taste of yeast, light spice, light sour fruit, citrus and semi sweet - body is medium, acidic, and with high carbonation – aftertaste of yeast, some sweetness, light spice, acidic

Pours a hazy golden brown with a medium sized head. Aroma is of wheat and yeast, and the taste is mainly malted wheat. Definitley more of a wheat ale than a hefe, lacking the spicy notes of a real hefe. Maybe a slight spice tatste in the background but not much. Still a decent wheat ale and pretty cheap for a 12 pack. But Franzikaner is about the same price and is a real hefe so I probably won’t get it again unless it is convienient.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with medium head. Very weak in my opinion. Doesn’t match there other fine offerings.
