Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Courtesy of my cousin, Tim. Pours a hazy yellow golden honey with a medium sized white head. Weak aroma of wheat with a hint of banana. Taste is watery and wheaty with a honey banana flavor. Average.

Seemed like a very generic heffeweizen, nothing special. Basic gold cloudy haze with basic bannana-clove aroma and flavor. Good beer....

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with an average, frothy, off-white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, grain, meal), light hops (grass), average yeast (dough, sweat) with notes of citrus, banana, and paper. Light bodied, thin texture, average carbonation, and a metallic finish. Short duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

Although there is wheat in the ale, you can’t call it a hefeweizen. the banana clove flavors are not there. It is a smooth unfiltered wheat that is good in the summer.

On tap at local restaurant. Cloudy yellow with a fizzy white head. Sweet bready aroma and taste with a crisp finish.

Pours out cloudy, the first time you see it you wonder, but it is good, smooth, drinkable and you can drink it all day long..

The beer pours completely opaque, carroty gold and despite being nicely carbonated, produces minimal foam with pitiful lacing and retention. Intense scrutiny reveals tenuous scents of green banana and undefinable metallic spice. The “flavor”, for lack of a better word, staggers with its neutrality; tart and barely phenolic, and resembling white bread soaked in rusty water. Moderate gassiness results in frequent, softly sulphury burps. Milkshake creaminess provides welcome contrast to the watery palate. This anemic ale exhausts itself with an aftertaste of budweiser with lemon. Bland beyond belief.

Great beer. Pours cloudy, can taste the citrus a bit. Refreshing easy beer to drink. Great value as well.
