Citris and pure wheat aroma. Medium-strong flavor of lighter wheat malts, and clean yeast, and pure water. The beer has great mouthfeel and taste. Just the right amount of bite. Abundant, tight lacing. Finish is refreshing and clean. One of the better hefeweizens. Wulfstan (509), California, USA

It is gold, cloudy, with a thin, lasting white head and weak lacing. The aroma is raspberries - sweet and fruity. The taste seems dry at first, but soon becomes more noticeably sweet. There is no bitterness. It is somewhat fruity over a wheat base, sowewhat thin and tingly palate, and a definite marshmallow aftertaste. Approachable and smooth, it is pleasing and tasty but not great. hellbilly (1515), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA

This one is crisp yet doughy from a bottle. Not sure how they manage that. Kinda like having a tart funnel cake. Despite the grandios pyramids on the label, this one amounts to more like a crop circle of a hefeweizen. Icommonsewer (122), TUCSON, Arizona, USA

This heinous orange concoction states it is brewed from a "Bavarian-inspired recipe." Yeah, maybe a recipe for saurkraut but not for a wheat beer. Unfortunately I can’t find a domestic wheat beer fit to kiss the posterior of any Bavarian weizenbier and that’s a shame because I want to buy American. DarkMagus (433), San Jose, California, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Oct 4, 2007 Tap. Here’s another random fruity pebbles-tasting imitation hefeweizen... typically served with a lemon unless you specifically ask the bartenders not to. Overly citrusy (I highly doubt that it’s entirely due to the yeast, I swear they put some chemicals in this stuff...), but definitely wheaty. Not very intense flavors. Pretty light body. When you drink this beer, try not to think of all the actually good beers you could be drinking at that moment.
