Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

33cl bottle. Rather unremarkable hefe. Nothing interesting in the aroma, flavor or finish.

Dumb label - Pyramid really should improve their labels. This is a little cloudy with no head. The beer goes down fresh and fizzy with a pleasant hefe flavor, a hint of sweetness and a dash of hoppy snap. A very good American hefeweizen, but I have had it several times, and some bottles are not as good as others.

Bottle: Sunny yellow pour with a firm white top. Light aroma reveals wisps of banana and clove, very light. The body is wheaty smooth and really drinkable. The yeast character really is pretty non-existent throughout. Oh well, this would appeal to the masses and may be a gateway beer for some.

On tap at Capital Ale House - Innsbrook. Cloudy orange body with a thick creamy white head. Light wheat and banana aroma. Light banana and clove flavor on a wheat background. Unmemorable

Lovely cloudy wheat beer, it lacks some citrus punch, but does have a solid malt backbone and a spicy nose.

An average Hefeweizen, not as much flavor as I like in my hef’s. Poured cloudy orange with not much head. Drinkable
