drowland (1360), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 23, 2009 Haha - I had this back in the day before they came up with all the wacky name changes. A nice American wheat, but don’t go in expecting German. joeneugs (289), Livermore, California, USA Aug 17, 2009 Pours hazy orange with a little off white head. I can’t help but like the way wheat beers look in the glass, especially on a hot summer day. If you’re looking for a nice German hefeweizen, this is not the beer for you. Its definitely more of an American wheat. Not much aroma other than faint biscuity and lemony notes. The flavor is the same, but very refreshing. Not bad, just boring. rugbybeerchick (5), California, USA does not count Aug 12, 2009 hazy, orange gold color.. medium white head.. sweet grain & mild citrus smell. taste is a bit too sweet for me. there is nothing to draw you in on the first sip. pretty mediocre hefe. sneagrams3 (1704), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Aug 4, 2009 Tasted 7/26/09. 12oz bottle. Hazy with an orange hue. White ring of head. Cereal grains and citrus in the nose. Medium bidied with a mild chalky body. Good yeast character. Bit of clove and straw. Mildly spicy. Cereal malts and mild red esters. Off style, but decent. msante79 (782), Orland Hills, Illinois, USA Aug 3, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours cloudy golden yellow with white head. Aroma is wheat, citrus and some mild yeast. Flavor is mostly wheat, citrus with some light pale malt and yeast. Decent wheat ale and not offensive at all. Good for a hot summer day. cfrancis (293), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada Jul 31, 2009 Mid-range wheat ale. On tap at Pour 24 in Vegas. Cloudy yellow in colour with a frothy white head. Yeast and some citrus in taste. Nothing really that interesting. MeisterBrew (138), Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA Jul 29, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a small white head. Yeast, grain, and a slight hint of citrus sum up the aroma. Taste is very light. Wheat and yeast are the bulk of the flavor. Light and refreshing, but not a good representation of a Hefe. thooper41 (384), Oregon, USA Jul 28, 2009 Oregon Brew Fest: hazy brown aroma of slightly stale wheat malt, flavor not very interesting but not offensive.
