Apr 12, 2007 (draft @ Centrifuge in MGM Grand Hotel and Casino - Las Vegas, NV) Cloudy orange pour with a puffy white head. Smell is very light with just wheat. Not much spice or orange in it. Flavor tastes almost exactly like a lager. Very watery and not much flavor. Definitely a wheat ale rather than a hefe.

Apr 12, 2007 Aside from getting this beer in a brewer’s box with 3 other kinds of Pyramid beers at a really great price, I really doubt that I’d buy this again. Aside from the fact that it’s just really plain, and unspectacular there really aren’t any faults either. An aroma of light fruit, crackers and soap. Flavors were really subdued with a dip towards the sour side with a decent dry finish. The problem I have with American Wheats is that they are just too plain and have no complexity or characteristics of a good Euro hefe.

Apr 11, 2007 This is a pretty un-aromatic and bland Hef. Not especially sweet or tart on the nose and palate. Everytime i drink this beer i want it to have some exceptional quality, but I don’t get it. Just common.

Apr 9, 2007 Tap at SeaTac airport. Dark cloudy orange. 1/4" creamy head. Strong orange aroma with backing banana and yeast. Creamy, zesty and refreshing. Full bodied. A bit of a dusty quality. Citrus notes seem muted.

Mar 24, 2007 Unimpressed. Wheat beers are good, but I will say that I have grown from them. Its good at a beer, but its missing something. The lemony citrus taste is always present. Its an enjoyable drink, but not my favorite.

Mar 23, 2007 I was somewhat disappointed with this beer. I’m a huge fan of Hefeweizens and wheat beers, but this one was average at best. The appearance and aroma were so-so. Not cloudy like I would have imagined. The taste was also okay. Some hops and a little lemon. An okay beer.

Mar 23, 2007 Deep apricot color with quickly thinning white head. Nose is lemony and yeasty. Flavor was somewhat disappointing...somewhat hoppy, but nothing distinctive, and somewhat rough for a Hefe...slightly below average in the Hefe field IMO. Palate was relatively smooth, and some bitterness was noted in the aftertaste...an OK wheat
