cyanescens (156), Seattle, Washington, USA Jan 20, 2007 Im not a big fan of hefeweizen regardless, but Pyramid’s hef isnt anything special by any means. Very, very bland and flavorless. Basically just a drinkable beer, cheap. Suttree (2702), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jan 20, 2007 Fairly typical - cloudy yellow, decent white head, mildly fruity aroma and flavor with all the normal wheat characteristic. The only issue was a rather pronounced stale, cardboardy flavor and aroma. eeblah (79), Arizona, USA Jan 19, 2007 Typical hefe, nice yellow/golden cloudy color. Not too bad of a hefe but there are better ones out there, has more of a bitter taste than preferred with weis beers. Easy to drink good summer beer. haggis03a3 (132), Piedmont, California, USA Jan 16, 2007 Tried it on tap. No head with typical hefeweizen color. Yeasty, citrus flovor with some bitter hops at the finish. OK, but not my favorite of this style. psuCE03 (122), York, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 11, 2007 Pleasant brew with typical hefeweizen characteristics. Has a good flavor although the Apricot Hefeweizen has a little more flavor. CigarsLoveBeer (153), Illinois, USA Jan 6, 2007 Bottle: Cloudy body with a off white head that was a little small for the style. The aroma included hops, banana and some spice (not sure what, but did seem like clove...) Flavor did not interest me, average everything you get in a wheat beer...There were a few points that lacked any flavor as the beer went down. Saddly, I think the lemon acutally helped this one... bradmccarroll (57), San Antonio, Texas, USA Jan 4, 2007 Updated: Mar 25, 2007Hints of banana in the aroma. A dark, cloudy, golden in hue with medium sweetness. Medium body, creamy, average carbonation, with a semi-bitter finish. biznizness (930), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA Jan 2, 2007 Eh... I’m not into Pyramid, from what I’ve seen of them so far. The other reviews say it all... bland weizen, decent but forgettable.
