Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Hints of banana in the aroma. A dark, cloudy, golden in hue with medium sweetness. Medium body, creamy, average carbonation, with a semi-bitter finish.

Eh... I’m not into Pyramid, from what I’ve seen of them so far. The other reviews say it all... bland weizen, decent but forgettable.

A rather bland hefe, with some citrusy hints in the nose. A faint, faint undertaste of banana and a bit of lemon zest complement the wheaty flavor of this brew. Overall, though, this stuff is pretty nodescript. Refreshing and inoffensive, but nothing I’d buy so long as there were any reasonable alternatives.

Pours a cloudy light ambery goldish color. This beer tastes a bit on the light side, but there’s plenty of bread flavors and some slight sour/tartness. Finsihes slightly spicy, but the lingering aftertaste is that of bread. Too mellow for me, and the body is very lacking. I’d probably save this for drinking at the bar when it happens to be one of the more exciting offerings.

Bottle. Poured a golden color. It is ok not a beer I would drink again. Has flavor or body.

I had Pyramid out of a bottle and I enjoyed it! It had a good flavor and was not harsh on the palate like other bottled hefe’s.

Not one of the best hefe’s I’ve ever had, but certainly not the worst either. I had this on tap last night. The head was very thin and deteriorated quickly. The flavor of the beer was good and its a very smooth. Would buy again.

Good American wheat beer. Not the best but definitley not the worst. Have had it numerous times on tap and out of the bottle. It is definitely popular in this area.
