cheapdark (2011), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 12, 2006 Translucent cloudy beer with a crazy film on top. Just a little fruity aroma. Clean beer taste, low bitterness if any. Finish ever so slightly remaining. benpickens (129), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Sep 23, 2006 Smells of oranges and grapefruit and is opaque and orangish color with a small creamy head. Malt and hops balanced with hops taking a slight edge. Beer2000 (1775), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 19, 2006 12 oz bottle. Hazy orange colored body with a short lasting white head. Quite light aroma with some citrus and a hint of banana. Nice flavor, well balanced mix of citrus, banana and some caramel. Some lemon and a hint of acid in aftertaste. Something between a Belgium wit and a Bavarian hefe weizen? I like it. Slacks (481), Bolton, Ontario, Canada Sep 17, 2006 Draught @ Cheesecake Factory, Las Vegas: Came a light orange in colour with an odd head for a supposed hefe; not foamy, but there. Aroma is very light with yeast, hops, oranges, and lemons coming through. Taste is heavy on the carbonation with a lots of water. I tried to save it with the lemon wedge, and it helped, but not enough to make it worthwhile. Pass on this one. pantani (1894), Salinas, California, USA Sep 2, 2006 Body is a golden amber with a 3/4 inch white head. Aroma is wheat, little bit of honey, and cheap malts. Taste is bland, bit of wheat, a malt liquor type smell, a bit of crystal malt, and pale malt. ARMed (485), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 1, 2006 I was disturbed by the initial aroma of the beer. It has a distinct aroma of clams. The seafood smell was a turnoff. The taste was good but I could not get over the smell. henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA Aug 30, 2006 The 12 ounce bottle poured a slightly hazy copper colored beverage with a small fizzy head that quickly and completely disappeared leaving no lacing on the glass. The aroma was rather unpleasant, smelling like dirty sox. The body was medium-light with lively carbonation and a slightly oily texture. The flavor started off lightly sweet. This sweetness fades gradually during the medium length finish and is eventually replaced with a light bitterness. BeerHeadBobby (142), In Hiding.., Florida, USA Aug 28, 2006 Bottled - Bought this with low expectations... Pours a cloudy orange... Aroma is yeast and citrus with an apple scent... Flavor has a refreshing citrus taste with a little sweetness... I’m not fond of Pyramid beers ... but this is probaby their best... good hefe IMO... I’d buy it again.. they won me over
