Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Only had the Apricot Ale until this one. Pours nice with a fluffy white head that dissipates after the first few sips. Perfect rich, cloudy golden-orange color. No stand-out aromas to speak of other than the basic yeasty, unfiltered wheat smell. No complex tastes either, but a good, clean, smooth heffe with a good palate. Goes down easy. I couldn’t stop myself from drinking it quickly. The first glass only lasted me about six minutes. This makes a great drinking beer for a reasonable micro price. I would buy it again.

Never tried a Pyramid of any type before. Picked up a sixpack of Hefe. Looked clear in the bottle, but poured a very nice cloudy gold. Yeasty aroma. Pleasant tasting - reminded me a bit of Bell’s Oberon ale. Would never be able to pick this one in a blind taste test, but would drink it again. I liked the price and it was a very decent tasting hefe. Nowhere near the ultimate German Hefe’s however.

Hazy orange, white head. Light aroma of oranges. Med body, mild flavor. Smooth but not much going on. Forgetful finish.

Straw, hazy color. Medium white head. Slight citrus aroma to it Flavor had a distinct wheat taste, but not much citrus. not particulaarly good. Medium to low bitterness. ok mouthfeel. Nothing spectacular overall. Decently refreshing.

12oz bottle Pours out yellow. Topped of with a white head. I can’t say a lot good or to bad it was a hefe.

Great hefeweizen beer enjoyed while at Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville in Vegas. Beautiful unfiltered and cloudy appearance. Slight fruity flavor, but has enough substance to satisfy.
