Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

From Draft. Hazy orangish-yellow color with a thin film of white head. Light aromas of yeast with a touch of banana. Mouthfeel is a bit buttery with somewhat of a syrupy texture. Flavors consist of maltex with a bland grainy finish, sweetened with artificial honey. Very typical example of this style - executed cleanly, blandly and inoffensively.

I absolutely love the memory of drinking this beer on tap across from Safeco Field in Seattle. With a lemon in it and it’s golden color it is perfect for a brunch. I always felt excellent heading to the games, Go Mariners!

Pours slightly hazed pale yellow w/ minimal froth. Aroma is malty banana. Light and silky nectar with relaxed effers. Flavors are fruity, malty, milky banana. The finish is fruity. Overall: too malty for this genre.

Light citrus and banana aroma with a pour that is a cloudy orange with a decent white head. The flavor has some malty sweetness with light notes of bananas. The finish is light and mild.

An unclear orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of oranges, but also notes of banana and light notes of straw. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel as well as quite a lot of banana and oranges. I think this is a nice Hefeweizen - why is it listed as an American wheat?

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a hazy, orangey golden with a small, off-white head. Lightly sweet, fruity aroma. Medium body with some slightly sweet malt, but no real fruityness. A hint of sulphur in the finish. 150506
