Not very carbonated at all.. a medium head that really didn’t last that long. It has a nice citrus taste and mild spice taste like most hefes. It might have been slightly too bitter for a hefe. I really like to taste a fruity/spice taste thats refreshing, and nothing else. It seemed kinda like most normal light lagers with a hefe tist to it. seemed to have a slightly watery taste overall, with a bitter aftertaste. Overall, not that bad at all. definitely not my favorite hefe-weizen, but It’s quite refreshing. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 13, 2006 Tap at Babe’s brewpub: Fairly typical body for a hefe/wheat. A light lemony aroma and flavor made this pretty bland, even after a hot hike in 100 degree weather. If a style like this fails there.. wow. actone (11), USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 28, 2006 Draught - A yellow pour, pretty cloudy. Aroma was definitely of orange and wheat. Head was decent, but diminished. Flavor was of very good orange, and as it warmed up, a very nice wheat as well. I am not a fan of hefeweizen, but this was enjoyable. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 17, 2006 Draught Fully hazy orange beer with olive shine; no head to speak of. Citrussy, wheat, bit of fruity esters in the nose. Served ice cold, of course. Rather sweet, bit orange-banana, but discreet; sourness almost non-existent. Retronasal some slight buttery flavour (no diacetyl). Light MF, slight wheat slickness. How more dull a supposedly serious style can become?
