KANE22 (2), Santa Ana, California, USA does not count Feb 6, 2006 Poured yellowish cloudy gold with the scent of yeast and lemon. Very smooth and easy to drink. ratman197 (3137), Arvada, Colorado, USA Feb 2, 2006 Bottle poured a cloudy gold with a lingering white head. Aromas of yeast, bread and a hint of clove. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, yeast and a bit of sourness with a smooth, clean finish. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jan 22, 2006 Agreed. This is an American wheat, not a hefeweizen. Cloudy and golden with a lofty white head, it has a light malt, yeast, and lemon juice aroma. The flavor is wheat with a bit of lemon sourness. Probably goes down better in the Summer. It’s January.

illinismitty (1790), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Jan 22, 2006 Draft. Another beer that I was cornered into drinking. This is because I was at a sports bar. Either this, Shiner Bock (had that), Bud swill, or Guinness (had that way too many times). Appearnce is orange yellow, which is a tad too cloudy and with no head. Typical wheat beer aroma, but too weak. Basically, this was a very average Hefe to some it up. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA Jan 18, 2006 "This is an okay hefe. Poured a light color with a fluffy head. Aroma was not impressive, weak. Taste was okay, not enough banana. a good yeast taste. Average " lovelacm (48), Niceville, Florida, USA Jan 17, 2006 Tap Pour at Scarpa’s 2 in ABQ, NM. Served in a pint glass with the traditional lemon slice garnish. Not much head, but the cloudy orange-amber body was a sight for sore eyes. Aroma dominated by the citrus aspect, but a little wheat comes through. No traditional banana here! Flavors also dominated by the lemon/citrus, but more of the wheat/bread, and some spices come out. I do miss the banana evident in other Weizens. Very tasty for an American Hefeweizen... but these boys still have something to shoot for. Cheers! cbkschubert (1945), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA Jan 10, 2006 A pretty strong lemon flavor comes through. Can’t taste much wheat or banana flavor. Beer is a little hazy and retains the light head well. Light after taste. Not bad oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA Dec 28, 2005 Pours a hazy golden yellow. Aroams of bread, fruit and spices. Flavors of orange, spice and some hints of citrus hop.
