shrubber85 (2833), Wallhalben, Germany Dec 26, 2005 Bottle. Light sour lemon and wheat aroma. Cloudy orange-yellow color with nice head. Slight sour lemon and wheat malt flavor. Boring and bland. thegreenrooster (1811), St.louis, Missouri, USA Dec 10, 2005 Pour is a hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is hard to find even after half of the brew was gone. Flavor is not much better. Some notes of vanilla but nothing else stands out. Bland and boring. MoreHead (355), Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA Dec 6, 2005 Pours cloudy yellow/orange, decent head and lacing. Aroma typical of a hefeweizen, mixed citris, mainly banana. taste is decent, wheaty but a little watered down. could have been bolder to add more interest. davidoc (113), Chicago, Illinois, USA Dec 2, 2005 Draft, at Seattle Airport. Nice color, good taste, if a bit on the bland side. tupalev (2605), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 29, 2005 On tap, Marriott Hotel Bar, San Francisco. Dark yellow, small white head. Faint lemon aroma. Bland wheat taste, some lemon. Refreshing. Medium mouthfeel. Nothing bad, just bland. loseratheart (110), USA Nov 29, 2005 What you come to expect from an average hefe. Hazy in appearance, but nice fruity aroma to it. A bit too carbonated in my opinon...To go along with watered down finish. Not bad overall. ericmc83 (200), Arkansas, USA Nov 23, 2005 Nice typical hefe appearance. Overall, I’d say it’s average. Banana...apricot...nice usual fruitiness. mkgrenwel (420), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA Nov 16, 2005 Beautiful hazy pour. Light and fruity flavor. Peach, apricot and banana. Mostly fruit. Some sweetness to the fruit. Slight effervescence and crispness. Generally has the consistency of fruit juice. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why this is rated so low. It is extremely tasty and refreshing. Nothing wrong with this beer.
