bethmatt0421 (317), Covington, Kentucky, USA Nov 13, 2005 12oz bottle. To me it’s just a typical hefeweizen(wheat)beer. Light bodied, watery taste wheaty/yeast taste. Not horrible by any means. Just nothing exceptional. AlabastorJones (761), San Francisco, California, USA Nov 6, 2005 Updated: Nov 26, 2005WORST BEER OF THE SUMMER AWARD water finish/palate, crispy and shitty
Strykzone (1458), Wood River, Illinois, USA Nov 5, 2005 Looks like a hefe, smells like a hefe, tastes like a hefe. Pretty run of the mill hefeweizen. Not much aroma at all. My favorite style of beers, so it was enjoyed. amalsugar (41), Tremonton, Utah, USA Oct 28, 2005 This is an ok hefe, nothing too special, but very drinkable. There are others out there that are much better. jujubeast6000 (768), Houston, Texas, USA Oct 27, 2005 (12oz bottle) golden yellow in color with little head quickly diminishing, not cloudy, floral hay hops aroma, slightly fizzy, clean finish, DrBayern (1135), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA Oct 17, 2005 12 oz. bottle. Cloudy light gold with a medium white head, not as large or sustained as many wheats. Pleasant mild aromas of grain and yeast, but nothing special. Light estery flavors typical of the style, but a little understated. Finishes clean with little bitterness. A refreshing hefeweizen, but only average. Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark Oct 17, 2005 On tap. Tasted during trip to California. Yellow cloudy colour with a nice head. Not much aroma, just hints of citrus. Very weak flavour of yeast. Not very good. KUEric (632), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA Oct 10, 2005 On Tap:
Bannanas, cloves, wheat, honey and lots of citrus were tastes and aromas.
Color was quite nice, although I always love the look of a hefe or a wheat.
Palate was smooth with an astringent bite on finish.
