joshpiledean (224), Ames, Iowa, USA Jan 12, 2005 Tap. Cloudy yellow. Small head. Pretty boring and bland, a little light on the wheat. Goes down pretty easy, though. burgerlicious (308), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA Jan 7, 2005 The body was deep yellow, the head thin and white. I usually don’t like wheat beers, but this one didn’t have the typically wheat beer taste about it. In fact, it had very little taste. It’s smooth, but unexciting. Zinister (1198), Houston, Texas, USA Dec 29, 2004 Yellow pour with a little white head. Slight citrus taste...even before I added the lemon...and fleeting sweetness at the end. A touch of honey at the end. I love this beer on a hot Texas day....and it’s not a bad primer to some IPA in the winter....drinks very easy. willblake (2160), Belcamp, Maryland, USA Dec 19, 2004 07.03.03 bottle, shaker with lemon. This one is a Bozeman standard for the summer, you’d be hard pressed to find a party without some. Hey, it’s cheap ($10/12-pk) and quaffable. I don’t want say anything bad about the stuff that looks so refreshing and always seems to find my doorstep. It’s yellow, but that matches the lemon that’s floating on top, despite which there’s still a nice white head. The aromas are light and grainy, sort of grassy, and some citrus (even without the fruit). Tastes are bland but sweet and quaffable, for sure. Some day’s this is the perfect choice. KAggie97 (2406), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Dec 19, 2004 Is this made by Pyramid or Orville Redenbacher? Almost identical to a product associated with the latter. Drinkable, but nothing to shout about. johno (83), Galveston, Texas, USA Dec 17, 2004 Thick, good-looking head with golden body. Aromas are very faint and nondescript. Thin, very sweet! Too sweet, especially the aftertaste. Mouth felt honey-coated after drinking. Padron4KM (400), Chandler, Arizona, USA Dec 11, 2004 Pours a hazy golden yellow in color, with a fluffy white head.
Head recedes rapidly, leaving spotty lacing clinging to the glass.
Aroma shows wheat, lemon, maybe a little fruityness, but banana and clove are non-existant.
Palate is thin and watery.
Flavor is a little yeasty, crunchy wheaty a slight spice and a little tang, but not much else.
It’s drinkable, but I’d rather have a german hefe instead. 00cobraR (1096), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA Dec 8, 2004 pours a cloudy yellow color with a slight white head. Tastes like anyother american wheat beer. Nothing special at all
