| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 17, 2009 Pours a cloudy golden amber with a frothy white head that collapses quickly to a small ring of bubble clinging to the sides of the glass. The nose is fairly muted with a solid wheat body and a light fruity yeast note in support. The palate is near-perfect, for the style: medium-light bodied, soft and wheaty with a clean finish. Only a touch of the wheat and yeast linger for a moment at the back of the tongue. Soft, sweet wheat with a nice blend of generic fruitiness thrown into the mix (think fading Juicy Fruit). I’m actually surprised to see this scored so lowly. As American-style wheat beers go, this is pretty solid.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jun 17, 2009 On tap in Hermosa. Pours light golden and hazy. Palate is light, mildly fizzy, and textured, especially on the finish. Flavor is wheaty, slightly lemony, and with a clean finish. I’m missing the depth of German hefes in this one though. In the end, this beer will have to settle for being a nice alternative to budcoorsmiller, but that’s all. unclemike (834), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 16, 2009 Pours cloudy yellow/orange, with very small head. Aroma is light malts & bread. Taste is a little disappointing for a hefeweizen. A little too acidic and it has a dry finish. Decent, but not great.

Cloudy gold pour with a big white head. Malty aroma with some yeast and feet. Yeasty flavor with some hop and malt. Cirrhosis (615), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 11, 2009 Unpleasant rotten egg smell greeted my nose when beer is first cracked. Golden hazy body with minimal head, its noisy but not impressive for the style. Aroma has a faint wheaty smell and that’s all it like smelling Styrofoam there’s nothing to it, a little bit of banana comes out when beer hit room temperature. Taste is also standard and on the mild side, wheat, banana, maybe some lemon, almond starts show up later on in the brew. The finishes very dry. Very drinkable beer not offensive at all it just seems to lack any real character in other words its boring. italarican (163), Astoria, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 8, 2009 Draft straight from the brewery. Poured a beautiful cloudy yellow. Fresh, citrus aroma. Flavors of lemon, grapefruit, and a hint of lime. A slight thickness that is much appreciated. Maybe this beer doesn’t travel well because what I had was of much higher quality than has been depicted from others. altehkiller (71), , California, USA
