Smells of grain and it tastes the same. Flavor is thick wheat, reminds me a bit of oatmeal. Poor finish. harbuck76 (128), El Cajon, California, USA

Aroma is bread, yeasty. it lacks in the aroma and taste not the usual bannana i’m used to Not too bad,but not too good. Easy drinker though. DaSilky1 (1964), San Diego, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 26, 2009 Wheaty Hefeweizen-like nose, cereal grains and chunky banana yeast phenols with a touch of crisp fermented tang rounding out the nose. Cloudy orangish color with white, solid head. Bland and thin wheat flavors with hints of cereal and messy dishwater aftertaste. I’ve started to appreciate this style more and more as I grow older, but this one doesn’t really bring anything exciting to the table, and instead kind of blahs it about, dishwater. This is the kind of beer that needs a lemon to make it refreshing, and once a lemon is squeezed in your glass or bottle, it does suffice as a refreshing beverage. darbish (81), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 25, 2009 smells sweet, sugary and a little grassy. pours cloudy, orange-ish/yellow, frothy. tastes a little cheap, but still tastes like a hefeweisen. wheaty, pulpy, but not much flavor and a little bland. I don’t expect great things from Pyramid, and this beer didn’t disappoint me. it came out exactly as I expected. aaronbr (54), Palo Alto, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 20, 2009 Pours a murky pumpkin orange with almost no head. Aroma is sweet but not overbearing at all. A banana and citrus flavor that finishes with a cold metallic flavor. Not my favorite, but it’s drinkable. swoopjones (1896), Buffalo, New York, USA

Used to drink a lot of this ten + years ago living in San Diego. Paler yellow pour. Lightly clouded. Citrusy lemony. Fainted banana & clove aspect but citrus dominated. Decent summer deck beer but way better options out there douglas88 (1577), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 9, 2009 I had this on draught in quite a few places on my honeymoon a couple of years back, but the majority of it I drank in the ’Nine Fine Irishmen’ bar, inside the New York New York Hotel, in Las Vegas. Found it very refreshing, nice citrus flavour and a pleasant milky white, cloudy appearance. Served with sliced lemon and orange, which worked well and was a pleasant addition to the choice of standard national brews.
