Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a very hazy dark orange color with a large creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is wheat and bready malts. Very subtle clove and fruit notes. Taste is bready malts followed by subtle pear notes. Overall bland and weak. Medium bodied.

Smooth and easy drinking. I found some banana in this (aroma and even taste) but little to none of the typical clove - that's o.k. - it made it all the more drinkable. Nice light hop finish too. Now, I've got to figure out how to drink it while using the weed whacker at the same time...

I much prefer the wheaten, this seemed rather unexciting

Great hefeweizen beer enjoyed while at Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville in Vegas. Beautiful unfiltered and cloudy appearance. Slight fruity flavor, but has enough substance to satisfy.

This brew pours with a cloudy orange-gold body topped by a thin white head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet yet bitter with wheaty malt notes, a slight yeastiness and a touch of lemon. Not a real strong aroma. The flavor is slightly sweet and malty with nice lemony notes and a touch of yeast. Light bodied, smooth and refreshing with a slight dryness.

On tap at local restaurant. Cloudy yellow with a fizzy white head. Sweet bready aroma and taste with a crisp finish.

Rated 7/28/07. Cloudy golden-amber color. Nice off-white head that lasts. Good lacing down the glass. Aroma is like a typical Hefe, with wheat providing the background and citrus adding a flavorful spark to the mix. Flavor is the same. Nothing special here, just your every day average Hefe. Wheat and citrus....kind of boring.
