Color is light gold with a white head. Mild carbonation. Light everything - light lacing, light wheat flavor and aroma, light yeast in the flavor in the aroma, light body. Needed more oomph behind everything! JohnC (2255), Mission Viejo, California, USA

I was very disappointed. In previous years, I remember this to have
been an outstanding beer. I wouldn’t buy it again. alexanderj (2252), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 18, 2009 Bomber; poured a dark, ruddy gold-amber with an average white head. Aroma of wheat, popcorn, with a bit of yeast and bread. Flavor was pretty bland and standard, but not bad. Easy to drink; palate a touch on the thin side, but it wasn’t detrimental. Some weird alcohol flavors. Ok I guess. jazz88 (2237), San Francisco, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 29, 2002 Tap @ Berkeley Alehouse. Hazy yellow. Crisp, citrus, grapefruit. A yeasty aftertaste. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 13, 2004 Crisp, wheaty head. Hazy, deep orange color. Bold, fresh, floral and fruit notes: honey, citrus, lemon zest. Little hop intrusion, but some bitterness lies on the palate. Solid, chewy texture. Hops re-emerge, flood the mouth, dance around the teeth and gums. Beautifully refreshing! To the crap lager drinkers of the world, I wish a taste of this fine ale, to shatter their beer worldview, and , if Heaven permits, rebuild it!

This one is a Bozeman standard for the summer, you’d be hard pressed to find a party without some. Hey, it’s cheap ($10/12-pk) and quaffable. I don’t want say anything bad about the stuff that looks so refreshing and always seems to find my doorstep. It’s yellow, but that matches the lemon that’s floating on top, despite which there’s still a nice white head. The aromas are light and grainy, sort of grassy, and some citrus (even without the fruit). Tastes are bland but sweet and quaffable, for sure. Some day’s this is the perfect choice. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 26, 2003 Cloudy, dark-straw with low to moderate carbonation. Sweet and strange aroma of butterscotch and yellow cake plus some spiciness. Light flavor of plums and peaches with considerable sweetness and some muskiness as well. Tart finish. Mouthfeel is like carbonated water. An odd beer. I'm beginning to wonder, are there any good wheat beers brewed in the United States?
