In fact, the palate is nice here, but the flavors don’t hold up all that well. But still, some pepper, spiciness, tanginess make it trad. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 3, 2004 Bottle. Hazy straw body with half finger head. Nose is strong of cardboard and wheat. Taste is typical wheat-watery, wheaty, slightly yeasty, and has a litle bit of clove and black pepper. I generaly don’t like wheats/hefeweizens, but this isn’t too bad. It is very mild and does not have that God awful hefeweizen banana taste, which is a bonus. illinismitty (1801), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 22, 2006 Draft. Another beer that I was cornered into drinking. This is because I was at a sports bar. Either this, Shiner Bock (had that), Bud swill, or Guinness (had that way too many times). Appearnce is orange yellow, which is a tad too cloudy and with no head. Typical wheat beer aroma, but too weak. Basically, this was a very average Hefe to some it up. sneagrams3 (1761), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 4, 2009 Tasted 7/26/09. 12oz bottle. Hazy with an orange hue. White ring of head. Cereal grains and citrus in the nose. Medium bidied with a mild chalky body. Good yeast character. Bit of clove and straw. Mildly spicy. Cereal malts and mild red esters. Off style, but decent. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 16, 2002 Maybe I’ve been spoiled with good Hefe’s, but this beer was totally weak. No good hopping, no real wheat taste and questionable body. Don’t buy this, get the SnowCap instead. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 4, 2006 Smooth to drink, but a bit thin in taste. Poured a golden color with a moderate head that was quick to disapear. Tastes of a little yeast, bread, not much hopiness. joet (1709), Fulton, California, USA
