Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

No acid high tones, flat, no yeastiness or other character builders, a sad, empty commercialized beer from a weakened macro micro.

Hazy light yellow with slightly frothy head. Aroma is banana and some wheat. Semi-sweet and cloying with a wheat presence throughout. Simple band effective.

Small white head short lived, slight lace. Hazy gold color. Toasty malt nose with a faint hint of citrus. Light bodied. Malty, yeasty flavors, blah. Medium dry finish.

Shaker pint draft, at the Seattle taproom at SEATAC. Pour is cloudy orange golden with a smallish white head. Served with a lemon I plucked off, but lemon citrus is still the primary aroma. After giving it a few minutes to clear, some very faint citric wheat comes across. Taste is a lot more of the citric, slight earthy wheat, followed by bright citrus. Also get some floral in the back. Palate is nice and full, yet light with active carbonation. Nice drinkable unfiltered wheat beer.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy in the glass, with an amber color, with nice carbonation and a clean, slightly reddish head that held up well. Aroma of hops, and citrus. Slightly dry with decent flavors. Good finish. An average American Wheat.
