Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Unfiltered yellow-orange with large white head. Aroma of wheat and cloves. Semi watery malty body with taste of banana and clove. A little sweet and a little chalky.

very hazy & cloudy appearance, bubbly white head that disappeared very quickly, very little by way of aroma, fizzy & medium body, lots of banana flavor, hints of clove or corriander, spicy banana finish

Bottle Pours a very clear light amber. Lacking that common cloudy unfiltered look of other heffys. A quick small fizzy white head that lasted only a minute. Now there is nothing left for any lacing what-so-ever. Aroma is wheat, bready, and some fruity slants. Appricots and honey, Taste is sweet and leans toward the flavor of light toast with butter and honey on it. Verry little in the way of hops and the finish is soft and pleasant. Unremarkable but fairly tastey.

Seemed like a very generic heffeweizen, nothing special. Basic gold cloudy haze with basic bannana-clove aroma and flavor. Good beer....

Mmm...sudsy white head yes... cloudy yes... dark orange??? wtf? This neither really looks nor tastes like a German hefeweizen.. o wait I’ve been fooled its an American Wheat. I guess it is darker since they added the extra malt. Its decent beer, but if youre going to write "hefeweizen" on the bottle make it in the German style... if not.. write "American Wheat" Dusty sweet aroma, Flavor is smooth and sugary-sweet with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Very watery...

Color is a hazy/cloudy yellow gold with a small white foam head about a finger high, faded quickly, leaving some lacing. Smell is lightly lemony and grainy, sweet with some wheat and yeast notes. Taste is grainy wheat and twisted with lemon citrus, a bit tame yeast and malt with a touch of lime or orange peel, all very soft, calm, and easy. Feel is lighter medium bodied with some tart action thats not to bad, a bit uneven and rough. It's a drinkable hefe, not bad, not great, just above average.

Looks like a hefe, smells like a hefe, tastes like a hefe. Pretty run of the mill hefeweizen. Not much aroma at all. My favorite style of beers, so it was enjoyed.
