Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Cloudy goldish orange look. Smell is wheat but has slight roasty smell. No bright fruit aroma present. Taste is too bland.

On tap. Cloudy golden color, white head. Grainier malt, some wheat. Smooth, medium body. A decent offereing but brings nothing new to the table.

Draft @ The Cannery, San Francisco, CA. Golden to orange and very cloudy, with a little white head. Very weak aroma and flavor, some citrus and fruityness. Not very good i think.

Draught at Chili’s Goleta. Hazy Gold with a lasting head. Sweet banana aroma. Crisp and banana flavor with wheat tang and some light bitterness. Not quite a bavarian hef, but pretty close and quite drinkable. Creamy and smooth body. Lacks the more interesting spice of a good hef, but still comes out pretty good overall.

Pours slightly hazed pale yellow w/ minimal froth. Aroma is malty banana. Light and silky nectar with relaxed effers. Flavors are fruity, malty, milky banana. The finish is fruity. Overall: too malty for this genre.

Courtesy of my cousin, Tim. Pours a hazy yellow golden honey with a medium sized white head. Weak aroma of wheat with a hint of banana. Taste is watery and wheaty with a honey banana flavor. Average.
