Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Bottle. Cloudy amber with a white head. Eh, a typical wheat beer, with a slightly watery flavor.

33cl bottle. Rather unremarkable hefe. Nothing interesting in the aroma, flavor or finish.

Doesn’t look so much like a Hefe style beer. Cloudy light brown with an ale like off white head. Aroma of my bottle smells like stale bread, no banana, clove, or otherr spices. Flavor improves moderately upon the aroma by having some wheaty flavors and a touch of banana. Mediocore at best.

Poured a hazy golden yellow color with a big white head. Aroma was very wheaty and bland, more like american wheat than the spicy notes of german hefes. Flavor was much the same, very bland, not watery, just plain.

Draft. The server at this bar decided that it was appropriate to just go ahead and squeeze the lemon all into the beer and leave it in the glass... and she didn’t even ask first! I don’t let anyone just put foreign objects in my beer. I tasted mostly lemons, and some grain.

Not very impressive - at least from the tap. Maybe the bottles are better. Appearance was not true to the style. Aroma was barely there. The yeasty/wheat taste was very ordinary. Much better hefe's to select out there.

From Draft. Hazy orangish-yellow color with a thin film of white head. Light aromas of yeast with a touch of banana. Mouthfeel is a bit buttery with somewhat of a syrupy texture. Flavors consist of maltex with a bland grainy finish, sweetened with artificial honey. Very typical example of this style - executed cleanly, blandly and inoffensively.

Attractive hazy golden. Crisp and wheaty citrus aroma. Nice yeast character with a touch of refreshing acidity. As good an american wheat I've had in recent memory.
