Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

On Tap at Fado Seattle (sans lemon slice - YUK!). Muddy cloudy yellow beige with a small short lasting white head. Served maybe a touch too cold. Citrusy sourdough yeasty aroma. Medium light dry palate. Flavours are decent citrusy grapefruit (hey why add the lemon folks!!!!) and medium to light bitter hops. Mild sweetness leading to dry clean finish.

Poured a cloudy caramel amber with a nice foamy head and good lacing. Good clean light citris aroma. Flavor is good.. a little banana a bit of caramel. This is a good easy drinking beer. I think it would make a good summer beer in a cold glass when the temp is 120 as it seems as it would be very refreshing.

Golden cloudy wheat beer that my waiter poured with a smallish head. Banana and cloves, more spice than sweet fruit, sour and wheaty, not much hops.

tap. I really enjoyed this on tap. Hazy staw pour with thin head. Nice wheat and grain. Smooth and slightly creamy.

this was aight. great aroma of banana and citrus and lemon. however, i didnt find them in the flavor at all. even with a lemon wedge squeezed in the beer, it was still lacking on the flavors normally found in hefes. unimaginative. good look though, nice cloudy yellow color with thick white head. i usually like hefes, this isnt one of the better ones.

Yellow pour with a little white head. Slight citrus taste...even before I added the lemon...and fleeting sweetness at the end. A touch of honey at the end. I love this beer on a hot Texas day....and it’s not a bad primer to some IPA in the winter....drinks very easy.

I thought this hefe was just fine cuz i was able to drink more than 3 12 ouncers and not get sick of it unlike other brands. Perhaps if it had just a tad bit more wheat and bannana added it would really come across well. Head could of been thicker too.
