Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Draught. Pours orange hazy, with creamy white head. Wheat malt and citrus in aroma. Flavor is wheaty, but not yeasty at all. They shouldn’t be calling this hefeweizen when it is an American wheat.

Bottle. Poured a hazy orange with a thin white head. The flavor found wheat and lemon. The flavor was typical hefe. However overall the aroma and flavor were very subdued. Light body and watery. Needs a kick.

(Tap) Pours a hazy mustand color with a small, persistant head. A little hoppier then I expected. Overall not too much flavor. A little citrusy. Quite unimpressive.

A good American style Hefe. Not the best, not the worst. Refreshing. Would try again.

Hazy honey color with a subsiding white frothy head. My first reaction on sniffing this beer was refined/ subdued, there is supposed to be an aroma here just waiting to be unleashed but is kept from doing so. For an unfiltered wheat there is a surprizing lack of flavor, to go along with th lack of aroma. It is crisp and clean but taste like it was made by Miller or any other macro to appeal to the masses.

Poured with a nice cloudy golden color with a really nice head. This is one of the more mild Hefeweizen’s. If you’re not totally into wheat beers, this would be a good starter. I enjoyed it.

on tap and from bottle: had this one several times. seems to be a popular hefe 'on tap' in las vegas. yellow cloudy with a loose head. nice citrus flavors and some spice. an okay hefe but cant hold a candle to the german boys. after a few you get a strange bitter aftertaste that i dont like. but great for hot summer days.
