Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Pours coppery with sparse white carbonation. Smells of sweet malt, hints od citrus. Tastes of citrus, some wheat, some lemons. Palate is watery with a lacking peppery finish.

This is no hefeweizen! Cloudy yellow beer with thin white head. Flavour is wheaty with a nice lemony citrus. No esters of clove or banana. Crisp finish but still fairly uninteresting.

[rerate needed] Murky orange/yellow, darker than most comparable wheats. Smell of a typical american hefeweizen, very yeasty with citrus. Very smooth in the mouth, with emphasis on orange and lemon, and mid-drink it turns to very sweet and syrupy. Finish is like sucking on candy, very moist and syrupy. It reminds me of drinking orange juice or lemon tea.

Agreed. This is an American wheat, not a hefeweizen. Cloudy and golden with a lofty white head, it has a light malt, yeast, and lemon juice aroma. The flavor is wheat with a bit of lemon sourness. Probably goes down better in the Summer. It’s January.

Cloudy golden color with a wispy egg white head. Sour wheat aroma. Quite spritzy on the mouth. Sour lemon/lime flavor pop flavors in the start. Fnish has some more malt backbone. Light cross of bavarian and berliner weisse. Quenching, but not alot of flavor.

Aroma of dirty hops and malty sewage. Flavor is lightly piney and citrusy. Palate is musky and not refined. I'm not that fond of american wheats, but this one makes them look like a monkey in a pinjata.

Bottle 12 oz. Cloudy pale amber with small head. Very little aroma. Medium to light body with smooth wheat texture. Medium flavor of citrus and malt with a small bitter finish. Below average for style.

Pours slightly turbid gold with a big, creamy, white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, citrus, hops. Tastes malty, with citrus, some yeast/hops at mid-palate, and finishing chardonnay and slight banana. Slightly dry finish, with a medium to light palate.
