| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 30, 2007 Bottle: Sunny yellow pour with a firm white top. Light aroma reveals wisps of banana and clove, very light. The body is wheaty smooth and really drinkable. The yeast character really is pretty non-existent throughout. Oh well, this would appeal to the masses and may be a gateway beer for some. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA

Murky golden color, white head, very little aroma. Taste is sweet and tangy, but finishes sticky sweet. I probably would order this again if there was nothing better on tap. fidel (1018), Livermore, California, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 27, 2004 Rich brown color in the glass and earthy aromas with some citrus. The beer has a weak start on the palate, but grows into a wheaty, kind of mealy, grainy hefe. Dry-ish finish with just a touch of astringency. Drinkable, but kind of mundane. You can’t really taste the yeast in this unfiltered hefe. Doesn’t stand up to its foreign counterparts. erway (1002), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 23, 2006 Pours a cloudy med. prange with a fizzy white head that dissipates rapidly. Aroma is oxidized, and I mean heavily. There is some clove character with a touch of that grainy wheat aroma. The body is thick for the style and low in CO2. The flavors are dominated by cardboard and a nasty slickness that I can only assume is age. Really poor beer. kidmartinek (1002), austin, Texas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 8, 2007 Updated: Apr 28, 2008A deep yellow couldy hefeweizen with a small head. Medium body. Citris and pure wheat aroma. Medium-strong flavor of lighter wheat malts, and clean yeast, and pure water. The beer has great mouthfeel and taste. Just the right amount of bite. Abundant, tight lacing. Finish is refreshing and clean. One of the better hefeweizens. Panzuriel (996), Westerville, Ohio, USA
