| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 27, 2007 Pours a nice hazy orange/amber, a little bit darker than I expected for a hefe. About an inch of white foam. Decent lace.
Sweet honeymalt flavor and mildly hoppy. Surprising for a hefe. I detect no citrus or spiciness, no yeast characteristics either. Actually, it tastes more like a pretty good amber ale than a hefeweizen. More spicy hops in the aftertaste.
Good carbonation, medium bodied. fidel (945), Livermore, California, USA
