Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Aroma is yeast and lemon, Flavor is Yeasty bread, lemon, and sweetish wheat malt. Pretty typical hefe.

(bottle). Cloudy, dark gold color. Large white head. Strong wheat aroma. Sweet yeast and wheat flavors. Thin texture. Spare lacing. Soft carbonation.

This is pretty bullshit. Stale, too prickly and boring. Totally ugly in the glass and on the palate. Cheesy and with a pulpy fruit to it. Not groovy.

12oz bottle. Pours a murky burnt orange color with a nice big off white foamy head that lingers with lacing throughout. Smells of wheat, citrus, malt, and spice. The taste is pretty sweet with overpowering citrus and wheat. The mouthfeel is very smooth and crisp and very easy to drink

[WBA styles tasting] Mildly hazy, pale straw color. Aroma of bread, apples and apricot. Fruity flavors, with a bit too much caramel. Minimal clove esters, but loads of banana. Lingering sweetness. Very low bitterness.

Pours a medium orange with some faint amber around the edges that had a little haze with a thin head that disappeared quickly, a orange lemon fruit fragrance, sweet and a little malt aroma, taste is sweet, citrus, wheat and dried fruit, a grainy texture mixed with the carbonation, the finish has light dried fruit and the finish had a faint offness about it, not sure why, I thought this was a little watery on the palate, lots of sediment in the bottle.

Re-rate. The best Pyramid I’ve tasted to date which isn’t saying a lot. A very drinkable hefe but that’s about the only highlight I can think of. Not much banana or bubblegum flavor and hardly any aroma.

Too carbonated for my taste - left a slight stinging sensation on my tounge. The color resembles, well...it looks like pee - if you had a urinary tract infection. I’m still undecided if that is bad or not.
