Typical hefeweizen with yeasty and citrus flavors. Lacks a little in flavor, but goes down smooth. Brodie (540), Blowing Rock, North Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 25, 2003 Grainy wheat aroma and flavor. no clove or banana, as is appropriate in an American wheat. Very cloudy. While it is true to style, I find it all together boring. jvmiller (532), Bel Air, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 8, 2008 I think this one is a nice easy drinker. Not a whole lot of flavor, but not overly dry. Goes down nice. Theres certainly nothing offensive about this one. crzybob77 (528), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 18, 2004 Hazy golden brown with little head. Has all the usual flavors of a hefeweizen (citrus, lemon, spice) but nothing stands out here... everything is kinda bland. Nothing special here. Shadallion (526), Sacramento, California, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 13, 2001 Yet another crappy American hefe-weizen. I will never be a fan of this style. Falconseye8 (525), Cartersville, Georgia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 11, 2004 Not a bad Wheat, just not as good as the Widmer I had before. Occluded amber color, citrusy and a little sweet. No hop presense with this one. It’s a solid beer, but Widmer’s is better. DerBiermeister (524), Birmingham, Alabama, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 9, 2005 Updated: May 28, 2008This is a quality brew, which I really enjoy. It is lightly salty and effervescent, easy to drink and crisp. It is simple, delicious, and unpretentious. maltdog (518), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 4/5 | 3/20 | Dec 10, 2007 The beer pours completely opaque, carroty gold and despite being nicely carbonated, produces minimal foam with pitiful lacing and retention. Intense scrutiny reveals tenuous scents of green banana and undefinable metallic spice. The “flavor”, for lack of a better word, staggers with its neutrality; tart and barely phenolic, and resembling white bread soaked in rusty water. Moderate gassiness results in frequent, softly sulphury burps. Milkshake creaminess provides welcome contrast to the watery palate. This anemic ale exhausts itself with an aftertaste of budweiser with lemon. Bland beyond belief.
