Intense scrutiny reveals tenuous scents of green banana and undefinable metallic spice. The “flavor”, for lack of a better word, staggers with its neutrality; tart and barely phenolic, and resembling white bread soaked in rusty water. Moderate gassiness results in frequent, softly sulphury burps. Milkshake creaminess provides welcome contrast to the watery palate. This anemic ale exhausts itself with an aftertaste of budweiser with lemon. Bland beyond belief. dp (512), uniontown, Ohio, USA

It is gold, cloudy, with a thin, lasting white head and weak lacing. The aroma is raspberries - sweet and fruity. The taste seems dry at first, but soon becomes more noticeably sweet. There is no bitterness. It is somewhat fruity over a wheat base, sowewhat thin and tingly palate, and a definite marshmallow aftertaste. Approachable and smooth, it is pleasing and tasty but not great. sfontain (508), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 20, 2005 Orange; smallish white head. Smells very citrusy; missing the expected banana. Flavor is also nondescriptly citrusy; finish is lightly hoppy and a little bit grassy. Medium-bodied. Drinks more like a very light Belgian than a hefe. Weak. Fairly weak aroma, mainly of wheat. Similar flavor, although a bit stronger, and with a hint of citrus. Finishes crisply. Not exciting at all, but it’s not bad.
