Sep 1, 2006 I was disturbed by the initial aroma of the beer. It has a distinct aroma of clams. The seafood smell was a turnoff. The taste was good but I could not get over the smell.

Sep 17, 2006 Draught @ Cheesecake Factory, Las Vegas: Came a light orange in colour with an odd head for a supposed hefe; not foamy, but there. Aroma is very light with yeast, hops, oranges, and lemons coming through. Taste is heavy on the carbonation with a lots of water. I tried to save it with the lemon wedge, and it helped, but not enough to make it worthwhile. Pass on this one.

Feb 1, 2008 Updated: Feb 23, 2008This Hefe is a little different in its extraordinarily drinkablity. The taste didn’t wow me, but I could drink the stuff all night. It was a nice surprise... Tasted again on 2/22/08 and felt the same way!

Jul 7, 2009 Bottle pours hazy yellow with a fluffy white head. The aroma is on with banana and yeast. Unfortunately I do not have much else to say that is good. Thin body with metallic taste with a light wheat backing. Not much going on.

Aug 6, 2002 Not terribly exciting for a wheat beer. Trying to aspire for more than an American styled wheat beer I think. Light citrusy notes and some hops, with a thin wheat flavor that kind of disappointed me ab it. But still quite drinkable.

Jun 19, 2002 Okay, this beer poured out a light yellow color with a nice white head. Formed some nice lace when it subsided. Had a cloudy appearance to it and some carbonation. An aroma of some citrus and hops. The mouthfeel and finish definately had the hops and some of the citrus. Gave it a overall tangy effect. Alright for a summer beer, but there are better ones out there.

Dec 28, 2006 A rather bland hefe, with some citrusy hints in the nose. A faint, faint undertaste of banana and a bit of lemon zest complement the wheaty flavor of this brew. Overall, though, this stuff is pretty nodescript. Refreshing and inoffensive, but nothing I’d buy so long as there were any reasonable alternatives.
