| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 22, 2003 This one has a murky, deep golden hue and the aroma of banana-nut bread, with a rich, pleasing wheat taste. Yes, the head on this one was a bit lame, but the rich flavor more than makes up for that! asedzie (457), San Francisco, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy swirly amber with medium slightly off-white head. Nice residual yeast on bottom of bottle. Very mild grain aroma, doughy yeast notes, slight citrus-like scent. Flavor is doughy light bread, a very mild sourness, a tiny bit of floral hops and a touch of bitter flavor- overall very mild and lacking much complexity. Rounded mouthfeel is the best part. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 23, 2003 This bottle was about a month past the "Best by this date" recommendation label. Had the appearance of a nice cloudy hefe with not very much aroma. The flavor was lemony and slighty fruity. It didn't taste old, but there just wasn't much going on to talk about in this beer. savnac (455), Palmer, Alaska, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 1, 2009 On tap @ home from the kegerator. Yeasty aroma with hints of straw and bananas. Cloudy orange/yellow with a nice white head. Flavors of wheat and yeast, almost fruity yeast flavor. Slightly thick mouth feel with light carbonation. This is a pretty solid every day drinking Hef. baobubba (451), Corvallis, Oregon, USA

Close attempt at the great style of hefeweizen, but still not perfect like the real deal. Nice wheat on the nose, and malt in the mouth, citrus notes are there, making this a very drinkable, good beer. Too bad I can’t get it in Florida. rayg1 (445), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Nov 13, 2007 Pours out a hazy orange-yellow with little to no head. This smells strangely like Budweiser. In fact alot like it. Moving on to the taste, wow, this is awful. This tastes like a normal Budweiser, the only difference is that this is darker and cloudy. Where is the spice? Where is the yeast? Where is the classic banana-like flavors of a decent weizen? What bullshit is this? Pissed I bought a six pack.
