| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 21, 2007 Bottle. Pours hazy orange with an average, frothy, off-white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, grain, meal), light hops (grass), average yeast (dough, sweat) with notes of citrus, banana, and paper. Light bodied, thin texture, average carbonation, and a metallic finish. Short duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Mar 4, 2004 Bottle. This is a poor imitation of an American Wheat IMO. Poor taste. It poured a small smooth white head with fine-medium sized bubbles that fully dissipated. The body had fast rising carbonation and somewhat hazy with a yellow-gold hue. The nose was sweet, some banana notes, spices and clove, but not up to par for an American Wheat. The flavor was somewhat sweet tasting and sour from start to finish. The mouthfeel was smooth, watery and thin. The lacing was very sparse. TheBeerGod (3177), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 30, 2002 Not bad. Considering this is West Coast, it’s definitely not bad. Smells and tastes of a citrus and wheat mix. Strong towards lemon but leaning towards orange. Not too spicy or floral. Gladly it’s not overloaded with hops. Worth trying. Got it as a gift along with some other beers. Not bad at all. PorterPounder (3148), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Good, solid domestic hefe. cloudy, light orange appearance. Has the patented banana, bubblegum aroma one comes to expect - flavor - similar. Has a pleasant thick mouthfeel - went down very smooth.
