The appearance is quite clear gold if undisturbed in the bottle or quite cloudy if mixed. The flavor is like the aroma being rather nondescript. The palate is typical for the style. Overall a non-offensive, forgettable, and drinkable wheat beer. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA

Yeasty hints in the nose, citrus fresh and lightly sweet, the start malt mostly with a middling top. Finish nicely carbonated and a fair to middling hop presence with the appropriately dry lingering aftertaste. Nice beer, not a great beer, but drinkable in its own right.

Mildly tart, nicely hopped, lots of fruit. Good mouth, but the tartness starts to cling. This was a good hefe. Jeppe (2638), Řlbutikken, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 24, 2004 Bottle pours a hazy light golden, small milkish white head, with ample carbonation. Wheaty malt on the nose, as well as a slight over-ripe banana. Up front I get a nice wheat malt flavor, real smooth mouthfeel, with a slight citrus note. Finishes with a good chewy wheat malt flavor. Very basic, light & refreshing, fairly good, great body & mouthfeel. Not one of the best, but one of my local favorites as far as American Wheats go.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 6, 2006 Bottle. Aroma is of clove spice and malt. Body is hazy gold with good white head. Flavor has a spice dominance that makes it hard for the banana to come through like most. Interesting but there are better hefe’s out there.
