Mildly tart, nicely hopped, lots of fruit. Good mouth, but the tartness starts to cling. This was a good hefe. Merc (313), Pullman, Washington, USA

As noted by others, a bit on the sour side, but solid all around. GrainBeltGuzzler (249), Goodhue, Minnesota, USA

Not the wheatiest hefe I have had, but still a real nice smooth drinking beer/ Lacking complexity desired by most serious raters on this site, but a nice summer sipping beer RaginCajun (284), Dallas, Texas, USA

Don't look for anything extreme here, just an average as-advertised hefeweizen with no bad parts to it. SDbruboy (1833), San Diego, California, USA

This came in a large mug, hazy golden color with a small head and little lacing. Fruity aroma with malt and wheat and a decent hop spice. Flavor was malted grains, sour mash, lemon and a medium hop finish. Good with a meal but not a favorite. SubstanceT (1090), Saint Louis, Missouri, USA

Citrus and wheat in the nose with similar taste only more tart than I anticipated. Smoothe feel to it. overall, this was quite good. beermatrix (1497), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 8, 2003 Color is a hazy/cloudy yellow gold with a small white foam head about a finger high, faded quickly, leaving some lacing. Smell is lightly lemony and grainy, sweet with some wheat and yeast notes. Taste is grainy wheat and twisted with lemon citrus, a bit tame yeast and malt with a touch of lime or orange peel, all very soft, calm, and easy. Feel is lighter medium bodied with some tart action thats not to bad, a bit uneven and rough. It's a drinkable hefe, not bad, not great, just above average.
