Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

This is a bland sort of everyday hefeweizen. Cloudy appearance but not too strong of a body. Yeasty, lemony flavor. Yeah, it’s drinkable, but I’ve had better hefes. Mediocre brew but highly popular none the less.

A nice smooth wheat beer. Nice color. Yeasty, and a little sweet. The fact that it is unfiltered leave a cloud in your beer.

From the bottle, this had little of the classic hefe character I'd expect. It's cloudy and vaguely yeasty, but it's much deeper hued and not as sharp or charactered as the classic HW. It's an OK beer, as long as you know what you're getting.

Pours nicely cloudy. Has some citrus taste and occasionally a really nice grassy taste, but lacks bite.

A fruity smell, but a murky color. Really nothing interesting or different until the aftertaste, which was not good. Not worth buying again. Okay, re-rate by mistake. This beer is much more deceptive than you’d think and pretty good as far as American wheats go.

Good hefe. Nice gold color, good white head. Smooth and good taste. I liked this a lot.

This beer looks great--light yellow with a strong white head. Smells like a typically wheaty, tasty hefeweizen. Tastes about average for hefeweizens, perhaps with a bit more in a spicy way. Very good.

Tap... came out a thick, bright yellow with a contrasty white head. Sweet, citrus aroma. Flavors of citrus, yeast, malt, and a just a touch of hops to balance it all out. Not as robust as a lot of other American wheats, but still well suited.
