Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

It was good. not exceptional looking, and slightly over more malt then i would have liked. nothing exceptional but a good beer. i had it after the hacker-pschor hefeweizen which was much better

Not the best Hefeweizen you’ll drink but it does score points for being one of the first to ressurect the style on US soil.

A very cloudy unfiltered wheat beer. Hop flavors are subdued and it does have a pretty bitter flavor, which is not bad. I used to think this beer ruled. Now I have come to realize that there are alot better.

Nice. A dude from Brazil gave this to me at a party in the 78704...Tasty! I then saw him leave the party on a recumbent bike. Opinion of the beer went down slightly after seeing that.

A tinge of alcohol in the nose. Smooth start with a dirty, uncomplex front. Off tap, front is clean, nearly tasteless. Character not apparent until the relatively clean finish. Drinkable, but lacks the flavorful notes of an Edelweiss. Decent summer brew, but this is one of those beers that should really be had on tap. This rating is assuming a bottle tasting. A good 3.3 off tap.

Slightly fruity/floral aroma and taste, typical of a wheat beer. Cloudy dark golden color (my glass looks a little darker than the glass pictured). Overall, a decent hefeweizen. In the past this wasn't one of my favorite styles, but it's definitely growing on me and this beer is one of the reasons.

This one had a nice smooth wheat feel (body)and clean finish. The color is great. Even a slightly sweet middle taste. A good session beer.
