Clove and banana flavor, proper for style but unimpressive. Some bite in the palate. ewestern (198), Ohio, USA

Aroma of clove, citrus and wheat, all mild. An almost spicy sweetness up front with mild honey, banana and wheat. Makes me think of summer and sunshine (gay, I know). Lightly carbonated and thicker bodied than I anticipated. Smooth throughout and enjoyable. Nice maltiness to it with a pleasant amount of hops to match. Warms well. I really enjoyed this beer. Crisp and banana flavor with wheat tang and some light bitterness. Not quite a bavarian hef, but pretty close and quite drinkable. Creamy and smooth body. Lacks the more interesting spice of a good hef, but still comes out pretty good overall. RunDWP (203), San Jose, California, USA

Yeasty, bread dough like flavor with slight fruity notes of apricot or citrus. Slight hop kick at the finish. Works for me as either a summer drinking beer, or would pair well with a lot of foods. Citric flavor but well balanced. Medium body. Doesn’t need a lemon. Stands on it’s own. esjaygee (1578), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA

Semi watery malty body with taste of banana and clove. A little sweet and a little chalky. cflores (6), USA does not count | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 16, 2008 I must admit, perhaps not a hef kinda guy, but none the less i like this one. Perhaps to my own detriment, for this hef is not the norm in the northwest. hazy body with lingering mello tones that meander around the idea of depicting dirty earthy notes. A hef that does not need the lemon, for it rings rich with citris and body. joeneugs (354), Livermore, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 17, 2009 Pours hazy orange with a little off white head. I can’t help but like the way wheat beers look in the glass, especially on a hot summer day. If you’re looking for a nice German hefeweizen, this is not the beer for you. Its definitely more of an American wheat. Not much aroma other than faint biscuity and lemony notes. The flavor is the same, but very refreshing. Not bad, just boring.
