Simple banana/clove yeast aroma. Taste is a more forward banana note, a finishing citrus note, and a balancing spice throughout. Decent enough. kiefdog (1631), Tampa, Florida, USA

Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of honey, banana, clove, light spice, caramel, some hints of light citrus. Flavor is about the same. Light to medium body with a pleasing floral finish. cflores (6), USA does not count | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 16, 2008 I must admit, perhaps not a hef kinda guy, but none the less i like this one. Perhaps to my own detriment, for this hef is not the norm in the northwest. hazy body with lingering mello tones that meander around the idea of depicting dirty earthy notes. A hef that does not need the lemon, for it rings rich with citris and body. drowland (1429), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

I can’t help but like the way wheat beers look in the glass, especially on a hot summer day. If you’re looking for a nice German hefeweizen, this is not the beer for you. Its definitely more of an American wheat. Not much aroma other than faint biscuity and lemony notes. The flavor is the same, but very refreshing. Not bad, just boring. poisoneddwarf (208), Rathdrum, Idaho, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 4, 2009 12 oz bottle. Smells of wheat, lemons, Granny Smith apples. Disappointing head and below average hazy hue when compared to its German counterparts. Flavor is very American rather than German. Tastes of wheat--like it should--and lemons (I did not put a lemon wedge in it, ya wankers). This beer was much better straight out of the bottle. I’ve come across a number of beers now which seem to come across better from the bottle rather than poured into a glass. I disagree with the notion that beer is always better from a glass. I drank this last night straight out of the bottle and remember being impressed. Now, with the same beer in my glass, it’s just mediocre. I thought the same thing with Blue Moon Honey Moon. I could actually taste the unique flavors--honey and wheat--much more out of the bottle than the glass. Gregory (357), Pullman, Washington, USA
