Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Lots of subpar ratings here, but I was excited by this one -- maybe it was the setting -- just gotten off the plane and was hot as hell. Had on tap at American Cafe -- was beautiful hazy orange, lemon was not needed at all great citrus taste in the beer -- not overly yeasty, perfect balance. I really enjoyed this -- and before I knew it -- I had three down the hatch. Great marks all around -- don’t know when I’ll have it again tho -- hard to find down here.

Right up there with Paulaner as the best hefe’s i’ve tried. Don’t insult it with a lemon.

An excellent hefeweizen. One of the best American hefeweizens I’ve tasted.

Being addicted to German Weizen after living there this summer i had been deprived because none of the ones i so loved are licensed in Wyoming. I found this one in town and it reminded me of Franziskaner pretty vividly. It’s not quite as good, but it is very close. I know what will be in my fridge from now on!! Thank you Pyramid!

nice wheat and citrus on the nose. dark golden hazy pour with a little white head. more malt than wheat flavor. wheat lingers longer on the palate however. nice mouthfeel.
