Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Hazy, dark orangey-yellow color. Spicy, yeasty and fruity aromal Yeasty with some burnt hoppy notes in the palate. Not a bad beer.

Bottle pours fairly clear, but with hard agitation, I got out the sediment to make the glass look cloudy. Aroma is yeasty. The flavor is slightly refreshing, yeasty, but not like others in the style that really show the banana/clove thing. Overall, this one really falls short of expectaions.

On Tap: Bannanas, cloves, wheat, honey and lots of citrus were tastes and aromas. Color was quite nice, although I always love the look of a hefe or a wheat. Palate was smooth with an astringent bite on finish.

Cloudy golden, thin diminishing head, releasing spicy aroma of yeast, wheat. Flavor of crisp wheat and spicy hops. Smooth, mildly bitter with a clean, dry finish. Refreshing brew.

Not one of the best hefe’s I’ve ever had, but certainly not the worst either. I had this on tap last night. The head was very thin and deteriorated quickly. The flavor of the beer was good and its a very smooth. Would buy again.

The colour of pink grapefruit juice; so hazy you’ll never see through it (but understandable since it is unfiltered). The nose is clean but there is little aroma to ponder. The mouthfeel is nice but the flavor is uninspiring. This beer wuld be desirable as a thirst quencher on a hot day...not my favorite style of beer; it is what it is!
