Commercial Description:
The standard by which all other wheat beers are judged. Our deliciously deranged American-Style Hefeweizen is an award winning take on this Bavarian classic. This refreshingly unfiltered wheat ale delivers a distinctively smooth flavor worth sharing with friends.

Cloudy golden, thin diminishing head, releasing spicy aroma of yeast, wheat. Flavor of crisp wheat and spicy hops. Smooth, mildly bitter with a clean, dry finish. Refreshing brew.

Not one of the best hefe’s I’ve ever had, but certainly not the worst either. I had this on tap last night. The head was very thin and deteriorated quickly. The flavor of the beer was good and its a very smooth. Would buy again.

Pours really nice and dare I say better than some German and Belgian options. Appearance would be its strongest point. Pyramid’s adaption as with most of the American wheats Ive tried lacks both the fruity nose and taste. Tastes more grassy or veggy than fruity. Its not bad by any means but not what I look for in a Hefe.

Pours a bright cloudy yellow body, with a large fluffy white head. Notcieable sediment floating around in the glass. Aroma was sweet and full of grass, wheat and cloves. Texture was wheaty, and smooth yet not overly rich.

The colour of pink grapefruit juice; so hazy you’ll never see through it (but understandable since it is unfiltered). The nose is clean but there is little aroma to ponder. The mouthfeel is nice but the flavor is uninspiring. This beer wuld be desirable as a thirst quencher on a hot day...not my favorite style of beer; it is what it is!
