Apr 3, 2009 A few bottles at a "Bar Mitzvah" themed party where it was the only non-macro. I’m not Jewish, but I was bummed they didn’t have Manischewitz. Oh well. This stuff isn’t bad. Yellow-orange color, white head. Aroma is a standard wheat with a little spice. Flavor is wheaty with banana and spice, not complex but really refreshing. Palate is really smooth and nice for the style. Incredibly drinkable.

Apr 24, 2008 ...draft at the pyramid brewery. Surprisingly good, but lacking. Close attempt at the great style of hefeweizen, but still not perfect like the real deal. Nice wheat on the nose, and malt in the mouth, citrus notes are there, making this a very drinkable, good beer. Too bad I can’t get it in Florida.

Oct 21, 2009 12 oz. Bottle…Pours cloudy amber with a frothy white head…that last a moderate period of time. Lemon and citrus aromas penetrate deep within the nostrils. The swallow is lively (with carbonation)...the flavor is a little dull for my hefe taste buds.

Aug 13, 2008 Pours a glowing orange and hay colored, with a quickly dissipating head. A taste of orange citrus, though vanishingly small. Cool and refreshing without being overly complex, would be considered a good table wine if it were a wine. But as it’s a beer, it’s only worth ordering when there’s nothing better available. Still, it’s a solid beer.

Mar 1, 2009 On tap @ home from the kegerator. Yeasty aroma with hints of straw and bananas. Cloudy orange/yellow with a nice white head. Flavors of wheat and yeast, almost fruity yeast flavor. Slightly thick mouth feel with light carbonation. This is a pretty solid every day drinking Hef.

Jul 15, 2009 Odd colour for a Hefe, being almost orange along with some slight haze. The head was a generous white, four-fingered creation and well-laced to boot. Aroma was ’clean’ but hinted at virtually nothing as to what lay in the glass. Taste was an ’average’ Hefe, neither outstanding nor wretched. Mouthfeel was smooth and solid, with a slight sweetness to the aftertaste. Good value for the money, but far from the best Hefe out there.

Oct 4, 2009 12 oz. bottle- Aroma is of hay and wheat, good hefe, not great. Head disapears almost immediately, kind of bland.
